Summary

Hello! I'm Jorge, a 3D artist who loves making video games and enjoy all aspects of their creation. I love being involved in the development and being part of how it evolves, from the seed of the creative ideas to its final launch, putting a part of me, my soul and my heart in each project I participate and work side by side with other artists, programmers and designers. I love the feeling of being part of a team and working together to create something greater, enjoying the whole process.

I always try to do my best, always ready to continue learning and improving my skills. I enjoy working on all kind of creative projects, no matter they are realistic or stylized (Although lately I'm starting to love the latter especially). I tend to focus more on creating 3D art, both characters and environments, but I also really enjoy getting my hands into the engine and bringing the levels to life, helping to design them, dressing levels or participating in gameplay parts, as well as animating characters, creatures or machines.

I worked from July 2017 to July 2022 at Mighty Polygon as 3D artist, with responsibilities focused in all the artistic aspects of the games we made. We were a team of 6 people with only 2 artists. I made 3D models of characters and environments, concept art, riggs, animations, level design, level dressing and even video editing. I also worked in the development of the art style of the two games I've been involved in, especially the last one, Tribal Robots, a survival prototype with stylized art.

In 2020 we published Relicta, our first video game, for PC (Steam, Epic Store, Humble Bundle...), Xbox One/Series X/Series S, PS4, Switch and Stadia, and its DLC's in 2021: Aegir Gig and Ice Queen.
